Hi, I’m Tammy Call

and I’m really glad you’re here.

I help Christian parents disciple their kids at home through simple, life-giving spiritual habits—without overwhelm or pressure.  I’m also a certified life coach, which shapes how I walk alongside parents with gentleness, clarity, and practical next steps.

I’m a former children’s pastor of 35+ years who still can’t walk past a back-to-school sale without buying supplies “just in case.” I’m a wife to John, dog mom to Gertie (our very hungry Cairn Terrier), mom to three amazing adults, bonus mom to two daughters-in-law I love, and the very proud Mimi of two grandboys who keep life loud, messy, holy, and miraculous.

I love Jesus deeply.
I love families fiercely.
And I believe the most powerful spiritual formation happens in ordinary homes, on ordinary days, with imperfect people.

Also—I’m fueled by the Holy Spirit and baked goods.
Both matter.

For years, I watched parents who loved God feel clueless, overwhelmed, and quietly guilty about discipling their kids at home. They wanted a faith-filled family—but felt unsure where to start, afraid of doing it wrong, or worried they were missing something important.

Here’s what God has shown me over time:

👉 Discipleship isn’t another thing to add to your plate.
👉 Faith isn’t formed through perfection—but through presence.
👉 And holy habits, practiced gently and consistently, change everything.

Your kids don’t need you to be a Bible scholar.
They need you to be available, curious, and willing to start small.

There was a season when I poured all of my creativity, patience, and spiritual energy into ministry—only to come home depleted.

I loved my family deeply, but I didn’t always have the margin to see the bigger picture of what God was doing in our home.

I felt the guilt.
The quiet sense that I should be doing more—or doing it better.

If I could sit across the table from my younger self now, I wouldn’t give her another curriculum or a longer to-do list.

I’d tell her this:

  • You don’t need more energy—you need gentler habits.

  • You don’t need to try harder—you need to start smaller.

  • God is already at work in your home, even on the days you feel empty.

This work exists because I needed it first.

I believe God delights in meeting families right where they are -

on the couch, at the dinner table, in the carpool line, at bedtime, and in the middle of the mess.

I believe our homes are meant to be places where:

  • God’s peace is practiced, not performed

  • Faith is caught through rhythms, not lectures

  • Kids learn who God is by watching who their parents are becoming

And I believe that when parents experience their true identity in God, everything in the home begins to shift.

This space exists to help Christian parents:

  • Build simple, life-giving spiritual habits

  • Create faith rhythms their kids actually enjoy

  • Let go of pressure and lean into peace

  • Trust that God is already at work in their home

You’ll find practical tools, playful ideas, thoughtful teaching, and a whole lot of grace—because that’s how God has always met me.

One Last Thing

I’m not here to tell you how to run your home.
I’m here to walk alongside you as you learn how to disciple your children in everyday life—one gentle step at a time.

If you’re tired, hopeful, curious, and ready to start small, you’re exactly who this is for.

Welcome.
Let’s build holy homes, one gentle habit at a time.
